Student Teaching

Student/Supervised Teaching is the culminating experience for most programs in the School of Education and carries with it a full work-load; therefore, all certification and graduate coursework should be completed prior to Student/Supervised Teaching.

A full semester before you are planning to student teach, you will need to see an advisor to be certain that you are cleared. Please make an appointment to see one of the following advisors:

Larry Krute- Associate Dean of Graduate Advising     914-323-5366
Jody Green- Assistant Dean of Graduate Advising    914-323-5432
Joan Weinreich- Professor of Education                 914-323-5283

After you get clearance for student teaching please contact the Student Teaching office at 914-323-3152 to set up an appointment to meet with Gail Robinson or Mindy Forman.
