Elizabeth Gallagher, Coordinator of Reference Services at the Manhattanville College Library, has worked as a reference librarian and instructor at the Manhattanville College Library for a number of years.  She is particularly interested in and intrigued by the changes in scholarship brought about by the Web.  She has taught a number of Information Literacy courses at Manhattanville and is developing instructional materials which focus on the role of Google in research.  She has been involved for a number of years with the Information Services Committee of the Westchester Academic Library Directors Organization and has served as Chairperson for the last two years. Prior to becoming a librarian she worked in the area of Urban Planning and Historic Preservation.
