Princeton Review Recognizes Manhattanville
PURCHASE, N.Y. – Once again, Manhattanville College (Purchase, N.Y.) has been recognized as a top-tier liberal arts college by The Princeton Review, one of the most notable college guide books released annually. “This is fantastic news,” says President Richard Berman.
The Princeton Review: The Best 368 Colleges lists Manhattanville in its 2009 edition, giving its quality of life a 94% approval rating. Students also endorsed the college’s “qualified and committed” faculty and the “very diverse” Manhattanville community.
Manhattanville received high marks from The Princeton Review for some of the school’s unique strengths. The college was rated #12 in the nation for most diverse campus. It was also rated #20 for best college theater. Students involved with the theater program enjoy the new Student Center on campus which houses a state-of-the-art theater, fitness center, and gallery.
College counselors generally concur that these top publications serve as a general starting point for prospective students and families in determining the worth of a college.
