2007 YEAR END INFORMATION
FOR BIWEEKLY STAFF EMPLOYEES-TIMESHEET DUE DATE
In order to facilitate a smooth transition into the Datatel Colleague Campus Computing System, the pay date originally scheduled for January 4, 2008 has been advanced to December 31, 2007. Timesheets for this period, which ends 12/30/07, must reach the Payroll Office by Friday, December 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m sharp! Timesheets received after this deadline will be processed in 2008. Predict as accurately as possible your hours for Friday, 12/21. Any adjustments will be made in the first payroll process of 2008. You may fax your signed and approved timesheet to 509-757-6971, 914-323-1967 or deliver it to Room 327, Reid Hall.
REPORT CHANGE OF ADDRESS-Report any changes in your address immediately to Human Resources. Your change must be submitted in writing by sending an email to prostanol@mville.edu.
ADP IPAYSTATEMENTS-Effective January 1, 2008, Manhattanville College will no longer outsource to ADP for our payroll processes. Payroll will be processed in-house. Your pay advices, whether you are participating in direct deposit or not, will be viewed through Web Advisor, which resides on a Verisign Certified Secure Server.
The ADP iPayStatements website will still house historical information from when we converted to ADP in July 2003. However, we will no longer have access to ADP’s technical support services. Therefore, we will no longer be able to reset passwords. It is very important that you safeguard your user id and password information. If you have not signed on to the website recently, we strongly suggest that you do so to verify your user id and password information. We also recommend that you print out any and all historical information that you deem important and necessary. Please contact me if you need assistance. I can be reached at extension 5226 or at payroll@mville.edu.
WEB TIME ENTRY-Implementation of Datatel’s Web Time Entry is targeted for January 1, 2008. There will be additional training sessions scheduled for early January 2008. See "Resources" at right. Please be on the alert for future communications from the Human Resources and Payroll departments.
STOP PAYMENT FEE-Effective January 1, 2006 a $10.00 fee was imposed on employees requesting replacement of an undelivered, destroyed or misplaced paycheck. This fee represents the bank’s charge to the college for processing a stop payment request. A replacement check will not be released to the employee until the $10.00 fee has been paid to the Payroll Office, Room 327, Reid Hall. Participation in direct deposit is strongly encouraged to avoid resultant delays and costs. Direct Deposit Authorization forms are available on the Manhattanville College website, as well as at the Payroll and Human Resources offices.
W4 WITHHOLDING ALLOWANCE CERTIFICATE-Each employee should update his/her tax status and number of exemptions claimed on the W4 Withholding Allowance Certificate. This information appears on your pay advice under the Manhattanville College letterhead. Blank forms are available on the Manhattanville College website, as well as at the Payroll and Human Resources offices. Please complete the form and submit to the Payroll Office, Room 327, Reid Hall.
PAYROLL SCHEDULES-Payroll schedules for 2008 will be posted on the college website in the near future. Please review your schedule for payroll deadlines and other important information regarding your paycheck.
