The Office of Campus Safety has one overriding goal: Ensuring that the entire Manhattanville community has a safe, protective environment where students, faculty, and staff can pursue their own goals.
We ensure this in several ways:
Supervising a unit of more than 20 full- and part-time officers, each trained in CPR, first aid and other emergency skills
Posting an officer at the main campus gate 24/7
Providing after-dusk escorts upon request
Maintaining blue-light emergency phones in eight campus locations
Operating an emergency notification system on several platforms, including phone, text, email, loudspeaker, and more
Offering seminars on campus safety and security practices are available to residence halls upon request.
You can reach us by phone 24 hours a day, or visit us in the main lobby of Spellman Hall, near the campus’ front entrance.
For emergencies: 888 : Any campus phone.(914) 323-7233 (SAFE) : Cell phones or off-campus
Non-emergencies:(914) 323-5244: General information(914) 323-5406 : Director of Campus Safety
