 The Wells in Florence Experience

The Wells in Florence study abroad program offers a unique and immersive experience in one of Italy's most vibrant cultural centers. Located in the historic heart of Florence, students have unparalleled access to iconic landmarks like the Ponte Vecchio, Duomo, and the Uffizi Gallery. The program includes comprehensive support, from furnished apartments in the city center to a cultural immersion and orientation week. Additionally, the program fee covers flights from NYC to Florence and numerous excursions and cultural events. With over 200 courses taught in English at the renowned Lorenzo de' Medici Institute, students can explore a wide range of disciplines while enjoying full-time support from dedicated Wells staff.

Housing is one of the unique qualities of this program, you choose between apartment living with other students or homestay with a local family.

Most students choose to stay in group shared apartments with other program participants.

You will be living and studying just a few blocks away from the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Galileo Museum, Medici Chapel, San Lorenzo Market, and some of Europe's most renowned outdoor spaces!

The Wells in Florence program fee includes more excursions, cultural events, and social activities than other comparable programs. Past programming throughout the semester have included:
