The mission of the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL) is to create
a vibrant campus community by engaging residential and commuter students, fostering student leadership, preserving campus traditions, and nurturing a wide array of clubs and
organizations.
CSIL is committed to actively involving students in all aspects of campus life, providing meaningful opportunities for engagement and development. We encourage students to explore interests, build connections, and
contribute to a thriving campus culture.

Through CSIL, students discover their passions, develop essential leadership skills,
and become influential change-makers in their communities.
Leadership and Networking
The Journey Mentor Program connects incoming students with successful upperclassmen
in order to help them with the transition to university life with emphasis on successful
academics and student leadership.
Your Home Away from Home
Stop by the Commuter Lounge in Brownson Hall, grab a bite to eat at The Court at Benziger,
or find a quiet space to study in the library. WIth our sprawling 100-acre campus,
there are plenty of spots for our students to find the right atmosphere to meet their
needs.
You are a Valiant!
Our orientation program has events, activities, and academic information sessions
to acclimate you to the Manhattanville campus. You will have the opportunity to meet
faculty, staff, and students, learn how to get involved on campus, and register for
classes.

and activities during the annual spring Quad Jam.
