Internship Information and Guidance

Internships offer Undergraduate and Graduate students valuable opportunities to apply knowledge, develop new skills, and build mentor relationships while performing work that supports employer initiatives and objectives.

Internship experiences are structured in various ways. They may be academically accredited, paid, unpaid, micro, or shadowing experiences, and may occur over a single semester, the full school year, year-round, or during summer.

Manhattanville University follows The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) published guidelines on the definition of and criteria for academic assessment and credit approval for internships. Employers who hire students for Internships for Credit are expected to comply with these guidelines, as well as the approval and intern evaluation processes and timeframes required for academically accredited experiences.
