The Department of Campus Safety works to provide peace, safety, and security to all people and facilities on the Manhattanville campus and other University properties. The University’s safety officers are trained in a variety of different areas and procedures for safety and security including emergency response, CPR, first aid, crisis intervention, criminal law, and patrol.

Student Health and Counseling (SHAC) offers comprehensive clinical services, medical care, and treatment free of charge to our full-time undergraduate and residential graduate students.

The mission of the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership (CSIL) is to create a vibrant and inclusive campus community by engaging residential and commuter students, fostering student leadership, preserving campus traditions, and nurturing a diverse array of clubs and organizations.

The educational purposes of Manhattanville include the preparation of our students for discerning and responsible citizenship in a diverse and global world. Members of the University must be able to come together in trust, the pursuit of academic excellence and respect for one another’s integrity in a just community.

The Center for Inclusion (CFI) facilitates a diverse and inclusive community and seeks to engage students and members of the University community of all backgrounds to ensure personal, academic, and professional growth and success.

Title IX of the Education Amendment of 1972 protects people from discrimination based on gender in education programs or activities which receive Federal financial assistance. Athletic programs are not the only academic realm governed by Title IX. Title IX applies to all departments, programs and activities, on and off campus, available to students at Manhattanville University in addition to employment. Manhattanville University prohibits and will not tolerate sexual harassment, sexual violence, domestic violence, stalking and dating violence upon any member of the community.

The Office of International Students & Study Abroad (OISS) provides assistance in many areas for our international student population. Those areas of help include counseling students on immigration matters, guiding them through the cultural adjustment process, and connecting them to the services and activities available on our campus and in the wider community. They also provide services for students interested in our study abroad programs
