Dr. Courtney Kelly is an associate professor in the Literacy Department in the School of Education. She has taught classes in Content Area Literacy; English Language Learners and Literacy; New Technologies and Critical Literacy; Language, Literacy & Culture; and Adolescent Literature, as well as a First Year Seminar on representations of schooling in popular culture. She previously worked as a bilingual coordinator of a cross-cultural after-school program in Columbus, Ohio, and as an English and reading teacher at secondary schools in Texas, Massachusetts, and Colombia. Dr. Kelly has presented at both regional and national conferences and published in international journals.
