Gerald Ardito
Dr. Gerald Ardito has been an educator for the past 20 years. For 8 years, he taught STEM topics for middle school students in a the middle school of a New York City suburb. During that time, he developed and implemented an entirely self directed 8th grade Biology course for 8th graders. Since 2013, he has been a teacher educator, focused on Adolescent, Science, and Computer Science/Computational Thinking education. Dr. Ardito's research has focused on the development, implementation, and management of autonomy supportive classrooms and the student learning networks that arise within. Dr. Ardito is currently an Associate Professor of Computer Science Computer Science Education at Manhattanville University.
