Biography

Dr. Hanley has over a decade of experience in hospital, long-term care, and community practice settings. As an active clinician, his expertise extends to holding specialist certification as a Medication Therapy Management (MTM) provider. Beyond his practice, Dr. Hanley is a seasoned educator. He serves as the Chair of Pharmacology and teaches at the graduate and undergraduate level within the School of Nursing & Health Sciences as an Associate Professor. As a subject matter expert in his discipline, Dr. Hanley serves on the Editorial Board of Integrated Pharmacy Research and Practice, an international peer-reviewed journal, and the Clinical Advisory Board for safeMedicate, an e-learning company designed to empower learners and improve drug calculation skills. Dr. Hanley’s passion is rooted in enhancing nursing education, particularly in medication safety and program development of pharmacology-based curricula.
