Father Fidelis Ezeani
Born in Orsu-Ihiteukwa, Nigeria, Father Fidelis Okechukwu Ezeani was ordained to the
Catholic Priesthood on August 21, 1999, in Orlu, Nigeria. Presently, he is a parochial
vicar at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Lindenhurst, New York. Since his Ordination,
he has been actively involved in parish, school and hospital ministries as well as
in humanitarian services both in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. He was trained in Nigeria,
the Philippines and the United States of America. He is a Board-Certified Chaplain
with the National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) of the United States of
America.
Father Fidelis is the founder and pioneer principal of Christ the King College (High
School) Ndiakunwanta-Uno Arondizuogu, Nigeria, as well as the Founder and President
of "Move Around With Us Incorporated" (MAWUI) a Non-Governmental (Non-Profit) Organization
that promotes better life for people with disabilities. He holds a Diploma in Mass
Communication (Journalism), Bachelor's Degrees in Philosophy and Theology, three master's
Degrees in Theology with major in Pastoral Ministry, Religious Education and Theological
Studies, and a Doctorate Degree in Theology (Pastoral).His priestly ministry is informed
by his watchword: "gratitude", and his motto/guiding principle: "Never grow tired
of doing what is good" (2 Thess. 3: 13). His hobbies include, reading, writing, singing,
playing xylophone, artistic designs and drawings, playing table tennis (ping pong),
etc.
