Dr. Kalli Kemp received her PhD in Intellectual Disabilities/Autism from Teachers College Columbia University in 2015. She has worked as an early childhood special education teacher and in school leadership serving students with disabilities. Dr. Kemp has taught undergraduate and graduate special education courses and supervised teacher candidates at several universities. Dr. Kemp’s research interests focus on evidence-based instructional strategies that promote social-emotional skill development and peer interactions for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities. She is also interested in family collaboration in early childhood special education and practices that support the development of family-school partnerships and family engagement.
