Rebecca Lafleur
Rebecca Lafleur earned her PhD in social psychology and graduate certificate in women’s studies from Temple University. In 2020, Lafleur joined the Manhattanville community from Mercy College, where she was an associate professor of psychology. Before Mercy, Lafleur spent twenty years as an assistant and associate professor of psychology at The College of New Rochelle (CNR) before serving as assistant dean, and then interim dean, of the School of Arts and Sciences. At CNR, she also served as chair of the psychology department, director of first-year experience, and director of women’s studies. A long-standing member of the Association for Women in Psychology, Lafleur received the Christine Ladd Franklin Award in 2014 for her significant and extensive contributions to the organization.
