Far more than simply housing and roommate requests — we strive to create a dynamic living environment in which all students are comfortable and able to fully develop as individuals.

The 2025-2026 Housing Application is a legally-binding agreement for the entire academic year (Fall & Spring Semesters).

Returning Student Housing Selection Process
Applications will open on January 27, 2025, and must be completed no later than February 28th, 2025 in order to participate in Room Selection.
Room Selection will occur from March 17, 2025 through April 18, 2025.
Resolve all student account holds and visit www.mville.edu/myaccount to pay your Housing Deposit online by the deadline.
Your Housing Deposit must be paid by the deadline in order to secure your 2025–2026 housing assignment.
To submit your deposit, please follow the instructions below.
- Log in to www.mville.edu/myaccount
- Select “Deposits” from the Menu.
Be sure to click "Deposits". Do not click "Make a payment" on the homepage. - Select the Fall 2025 Term and Housing Deposit
- Follow the onscreen prompts to submit the deposit.
The 2025–2026 Housing Application is a legally-binding agreement for the entire academic year (Fall & Spring Semesters).
Step 3: Receive Room Selection Number
All students who submit an application by February 28, 2025 at 11:59 PM EST will receive a room selection number on on March 17, 2025. The room selection number will be used to generate your room selection time.
Room Selection Number Ranges:
Seniors and Graduates | 1000 - 1999 |
Juniors | 2000 - 2999 |
Sophomores |
3000 - 3999 |
Manhattanville University determines class standing by the total number of credits a student has earned.
Class standing for Room Selection is determined by the number of credits a student has earned plus the number of credits a student is attempting for the Spring semester. The credit ranges for Room Selection are listed below:
Rising Grads: 105+ Credits
Rising Seniors: 75–104 Credits
Rising Juniors: 45–74 Credits
Rising Sophomores: 0–44 Credits
Example: Student A has earned 24 credits. They are currently taking 12 credits. Therefore, they have 36 credits that would be used to determine their class standing for room selection. They would be a rising sophomore.

All students who receive a room selection number will be eligible to form roommate groups at www.mville.edu/myhousing. Select "Room & Roommate Selection" from the menu, then select "Select a Roommate." All placements will be selected by "suite." For the purposes of room selection, a "suite" means any grouping of rooms that share a common space or bathroom.
Students may form groups of 2 or 3 for Founder's Hall, 4, 5, or 6 for Dammann & Tenney Halls. There are a limited number of 4-person suites in Dammann & Tenney Halls. Please keep this in mind and manage your own expectations when forming groups for these spaces.
Students will be notified on March 25, 2025 of when their group may select their 2025-2026 housing assignment.
All roommate groups will receive a group selection time on March 27, 2025. Group Selection time is based on the average of the room selection numbers of the students in the group.
Any member of the roommate group can select on behalf of the group during their group selection time. The student who selects on behalf of the group will have the ability to assign students in their group to individual spaces.
Students may form groups of 4, 5, or 6 for Dammann & Tenney Halls. There are a limited number of 4-person suites in Dammann & Tenney Halls. Please keep this in mind and manage your own expectations when forming groups for these spaces.
Selection for Dammann & Tenney Halls will prioritize 6-person suites, followed by 5- and 4-person suites.
- 6-person groups will have a time assigned between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
- 5-person groups will have a time assigned between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
- 4-person groups will have a time assigned between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
If you were part of the suite process and did not receive a suite selection, please reorganize into 1–3 person groups so that you can select during "Fill A Room" Selection happening on April 5, 2025.
April 3, 2025 - Priority Number Confirmation Sent
April 5, 2025 - "Fill A Room" Selection
The person with the highest priority number will be able to select for the entire group.
"Fill A Room" Selection means that the entire group must fill the entire bedroom space of either a single, double, or 3-person space in Founder's Hall.
During this process, students fill the bed within a residence hall space, whether that be a single room or an open space in a double room.
Students will receive a confirmation of their 2025–2026 room assignments and will be notified whether their Housing Deposit has been paid.
