Student Health and Counseling

Welcome to Student Health and Counseling (SHAC).

SHAC is a safe, confidential place where students receive comprehensive, individualized care. SHAC prioritizes the physical and emotional wellness of our students and the campus community.

We operate under an interdisciplinary model of care and approach the physical and emotional wellness of our students in a holistic and culturally sensitive way. Our licensed providers work as a team and carefully consider the interplay between one’s emotional and physical well-being. We employ a student-focused approach and our staff are dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of a diverse student body.

Our Wellness room boasts many current trends in the field of stress-management and prevention and is available for use by all students as well as staff and faculty.

Our offices are open Monday-Friday from 9 AM-5 PM, and our services are free and confidential. In-person and virtual counseling appointments are available.

Appointments are required at Health Services. We work very hard to accommodate same-day sick visits. Please call 914.323.5245 to discuss your concern and schedule your appointment.
