The BS in Childhood Education program begins with child development and pedagogy courses in the first semester, as well as general education and elective courses that foster a well-rounded perspective to bring to future classrooms.
Dive deeply into one of three content areas, natural sciences, social and behavioral sciences, or English literature and writing, learn innovated teaching methods in your education classes, and gain in-classroom student teaching training under the guidance of certified educators in field placements and a senior student teaching semester.
