Academic Resources
Manhattanville's Institutional Review Board (IRB) oversees all campus human-subject research and study on behalf of the University.
At Manhattanville, we support assessment activities for undergraduate degrees, graduate
degrees, doctoral degrees, and post-baccalaureate and graduate certificates, as well
as General Education.
The Office of Instructional Technology offers assistance for faculty with a variety
of technology platforms offered at Manhattanville to enhance the teaching and learning
experience; these platforms feature an array of tools to allow faculty and students
to collaborate, create, and communicate.

The library offers impressive collections and outstanding services to help all of
our students succeed in the classroom and beyond.
The Registrar office has the responsibility to maintain timely and accurate records
of the academic progress of all students while upholding the privacy and security
of those records.
The Valiant Advising team supports students and faculty by providing information about
academic policies and degree requirements, assists students in the course selection
process, and offers students support and appropriate referrals to other campus resources.
Centers and Institutes
Manhattanville’s distinctive Center for Design Thinking (CDT) is a hub where students,
expert faculty, and the greater New York and Westchester County community approach
even the most complex problems with design thinking mindsets and methodologies.
The CCD collaborates with faculty and industry partners to develop robust experiential
learning opportunities that meaningfully connect students’ academic experiences to
the world of work.
The Clark Center promotes the development of ethical and socially responsible undergraduate
leaders for the global community involving the entire student body offering volunteering
and service-learning opportunities.
Through partnerships with 19 schools in ten local school districts, our Changing Suburbs
Institute® is preparing teacher candidates, providing faculty development, and giving students
the best chance to succeed by helping their parents to become better advocates for
their children’s education.
The Rose Institute, in partnership with Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES, offers
courses through the Hudson River Teacher Center. Teachers may choose graduate or professional
development credit.
Student Life Resources
The Dean of Students serves as an advocate for students and is responsible for overall
coordination for the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership, Residence Life,
and the coordination of the Student Code of Conduct.
SHAC is a safe, confidential place where students receive comprehensive, individualized
care. SHAC prioritizes the physical and emotional wellness of our students and the
campus community.
Our highly regarded connections with international institutions, colleges, universities, and providers make living and studying abroad an even more appealing option.
Spain, Italy, France, Ireland, the UK, Germany, Israel, South Africa, Japan, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico are just some of the major countries that students can add to their academic and life experience.
